Information about registration for organized sports teams is distributed through local schools, newspapers, and Recreation Departments. Your Recreation Department is your best contact for locating current teams. Recreation Departments, PAL and Ys sponsor additional sports teams.

Fall sports include soccer, football and cheerleading. Winter sports include wrestling, basketball and hockey. Spring sports include track, baseball, softball and lacrosse. Off-season indoor leagues and summer traveling teams offer additional training and more competitive play. Registration and tryouts, if required, usually begin during the preceding season.

Consult Eteamz, League Lineup and League Athletics, online communities of team websites, where you can search registered teams, camps and associations in your area by zip code, sport or level.
